Stay healthy this winter season by allowing yourself time to rest & rejuvenate. Giving yourself time to rest this winter will allow you to thrive & be vibrant all year. Here are a few of my favorite ways to feel good (all year long).
*Get some sleep. Sleep at least 8 hours per night & try to get to bed no later than 10pm
* Exercise daily. If you don’t like the gym try taking walks or dancing in your living room (or take a dance class at a nearby studio)
*Practice yoga. Yoga allows the body to naturally heal. It reduces stress and allows the nervous system to remain calm. When the body is stressed it’s impossible to thrive.
*Eat healthy. Remember you are what you eat. Treat your body like your sacred temple. Allow food to be your medicine & medicine your food.
These are just a few tips for feeling good. I could list more, but I’m starting with my top few. Here’s a recipe for a ginger tea in case you need to fight off any illnesses such as cold, cough, flu.
You’ll need:
Ginger root
Lime
Honey
Hot water
Cut and peel the ginger. Let it seep in water. Bring water to a boil. Once boiled add the water & ginger to a cup. Then add the lime and equal honey. I recommend keeping the ginger and using it again for another cup of this delicious and powerful tea.
Enjoy!
Cheers to feeling good & vibrant!
