Can I tell you the sweetest and cutest thing that happened?
Before I tell you, I want to first say that things can be really hard for all of us. Times are crazy. Trump is a nut job and Cancer is killing so many young people. And a young adult that I once knew (when he was 11 years old) was in a bike accident 2 weeks ago and is going to pass away on Saturday after they pull the plug. Tears flow and it’s all because some things are sad and some things really melt my heart like chocolate.
Back to my story. My sweet story. Yesterday I had plenty of tear drops while coloring my Mandala. It just felt right to release. It refreshed me enough to go teach my afternoon kids yoga class with a clear perspective in my mind and heart.
Right before savasana ended; a little boy was talking and I whispered to him to remain quiet for a little longer. He’d been resisting a lot in class so I know he was ready to have his freedom again. After I whispered to him, he looked at me and said ‘You are beautiful’ Be still my heart. The words of a 4 1/2 year old boy. Just thought it was sweet and innocent. It melted my heart.
It reminded me to return to a place of universal love and offer purity to the world.
